Are your Kid’s eyes ready for World Book Day?
With World Book Day happening this week it is an ideal opportunity to check your child’s eyesight so that they can enjoy reading their favourite books.
Did you know that 1 in 5 school aged children have an undiagnosed vision problem?
Children don’t often complain about not being able to see, if the world is blurry they assume that is how it should look.
Signs that your child may be struggling to see:
Is your child holding the book too close when they read?
Do they sit too close to the television?
Do they screw up their eyes or frown, or close one eye when they are watching TV or reading?
Do they have watery and red eyes?
Do they rub their eyes a lot?
Do they complain about headaches?
Do they struggle to concentrate at school or have behavioural problems?
We offer free NHS eye tests & glasses for children (we test from aged 2). We also have a beautiful range of @NanovistaUK kid’s glasses in store. As well as kids glasses case’s and kids sports glasses.
To book an eye test please call on 020 8759 9395 to make your appointment or to discuss any concerns that you may have. Alternatively, you can book online.
